Used as a alternative to regular soap

It didn't work any differently than dawn dish soap but it was at least more visible than dawn dish soap. Not a bad product by any means.

May work for larger applications, but not finer fittings.

I use this for testing high pressure fittings on natural gas lines, including electronic flow meters and five-valve manifolds. It's just a little too thick for smaller fittings. Won't be purchasing again for this application. Just my opinion.

spray bottle is not good

This product seems to do the job, however, the spray bottle it comes in is useless and leaks all over my hand when I try to spray. I transferred the contents to a better quality sprayer and it now works great.What a shame this company lets its product down by using a low quality spray bottle.

Gas leak detector

Worked very well in finding gas leaks in my HVAC natural gas lines.

I installed a ridetech air suspension on my car and had a slow leak that I could not find with soapy water. Withing seconds of applying this product I found the leak.

A/C leaks made easier with this.

I purchased this product with hopes it would help me find a very hard to find leak. With my detector and this spray it was found. 💪

Great product, leaky sprayer

The leak detector liquid is great. The yellow bubbles appear quickly even on small leaks you can't hear. One star off for the leaky spray bottle though. The sprayer leaks in use and during transportation, not enough to pool up but enough to be annoying. Wear nitrile gloves for use, store on a tray, and carry in a plastic bag.

Price is absurd, forms bubbles when sprayed

The problem is, bubbles form when the soapy water is sprayed.But I guess they grow over time if there is a leak.$18 for a bottle of soapy water with some blue dye is absurd. That is getting into the lower range of electronic detectors.

Found four micro holes in my inflatable pool - would never have found them otherwise

it works, you have to look carefully, but this stuff reveals air leaks pretty clearly. Love it.

I tried soapy water I tried just soap. I tried big blue. Finally I over inflated my 20 foot RHIB and sprayed it in sections. Voila. A little tiny llean near the bottom started bubbling. I could have jumped for joy after spending a week trying to find that micro leak.The leak was so small that once the presser started getting low I couldn’t see the leak. So make sure to over inflate to find the leak.

Overall got the job done, I found the leak that I was looking for, make sure to direct some lighting to see bubbles better.

This product is not the same as BigBlu

This is about the same as Windex (at 5x the cost!), which was my go to leak detector prior to purchasing this. Due to other reviews I was expecting this to be the same as Big Blu micro leak detector but it is not as thick / viscous as it is and in my opinion not worth the extra cost. It does pick up leaks but it doesn't have a strong staying power (just like Windex) and not sure how small of a leak it will pick up over the Big Blu brand.
